The specs didn't say what the width was, so I assumed it would fit. It was 3/4" instead of the 1/2" I needed. I emailed the vendor and was able to return it for a refund to my card.we were have a difficult time in finding this down rods for our outdoor fans, but we found them on Amazon and they were a perfect match and installed with no problems!
