These SG-83055 fixtures (in both white and black) are made of plastic, NOT metal. For $60 that is ridiculous, you can buy the same fixtures from other manufacturers (nearly identical in appearance) for $40 at Home Depot or Lowes. I reported this to Amazon, they gave me a price adjustment and promised to update the product details here to indicate these products are made of plastic. They get two stars (vs. 1) because I did opt to keep them and give them a try because I like the nautical style, I'm just not crazy about the idea of putting plastic outdoor fixtures on my Cape Cod home.

The installation was better than other wall lights I've previously purchased.I really like the screw on light cover, should keep all those insects from accumulating inside!
