I rewired a half dozen 4-bulb T12 fixtures using these bulbs and the Sylvania 49908 ballast. My fixtures now start immediately (no matter what the ambient temperature) and are significantly brighter. The bulbs came in the original packaging and all arrived intact. My local hardware store willingly took the old bulbs and starters for recycling don't break the bulbs or landfill the starters; mercury in the bulbs and PCBs in the older starters.

I converted my T12 ballasts to T8 and MAN the difference. If you want to brighten up your shop, change your ballasts and get these bulbs. They arrived almost before I ordered them and much less than I could buy the and Big Box Store and were packaged well nothing broken.
