This fixture looks great and can be mounted flush to the ceiling or hanging. The only downside is that it uses 4-pin bulbs and not regular screw-in bulbs.

I bought this fixture from Home Depot 4 years ago. 1 of 2 ballasts ($35) and 1 of 2 CFLs ($8) failed within 4 years. I don't think that I saved $43 worth of electricity in that time. The CFL has mercury in it, so I have to take it to a hazardous waste disposal site (Home Depot accepts them). It's a lot more trouble than replacing an incandescent bulb every once in awhile. Most of my incandescent bulbs have lasted longer at a fraction of the cost.
