I have had this light for over a year now. It is well made, heavy construction, good wiring, and a snap to install. I like it because it puts out TONS of "soft" light for 70 watts.

The fixture is pretty good looking not beautiful, but completely inoffensive. It is actually kind of hard to find a HPS light that does not look industrial.

This one does not stand out on my house, which is pretty important to me since the house is an old tudor the historic register. I'm not trying to brag, just letting you know that it will not look like you have parking lot lighting on a nice house.

It takes a few minutes to warm up, and the light is not at all harsh, just very bright.

It's a sodium vapour lamp beautiful and REALLY bright orange lightbright enough ( but mellow too) to light up your entire front yard and pathway.

Only 70 watts and real easy to install. Kudos

This is one bright light. I can't believe it is only 70 Watt.Installed easily and it is a quality item.

Perhaps the 50 Watt would have been sufficient but I like the brightness.

Arrived promptly and in great shape. Easy install. Solid construction. Mounting holes must be drilled in the back of the light to mount to your specific conditions. Really bright light. Keeps the burglers away!

Update 1-12-13: The light sensor stopped working, but the darn bulb keeps working 24 hours per day. It lasts forever!! Buy it!

Fixture is built well and looks good and inconspicuous on house. Lighting is amber color and fixture puts out plenty of light for a mere 70 watts. BUT photocell does not shut light off unless there is PLENTY of daylight. I installed it under the eaves which does not help, but light will stay on during a cloudy day. I contacted Cooper lighting via email and received a response indicating that there is no fix or adjustment for this problem. Overall a good item with just the one exception.
