These are wicked cool reflectors in more ways than one. The lensed reflectors really keep the heat away from the plants. I'm using 1000 wt HPS systems with windtunnel centrifuge type fans and it's a cool 70 degrees in the tents. ( only a 1 degree difference from the surrounding room ) Can't ask for better than that. The units are also as solid as a rock and the interiors are decked out with equally excellent reflector material. Highly recommended for serious indoor grows.

This reflector is awesome! The quality is high and the materials are durable! I love the footprint that this reflector provides and the glass to shield the plants from heat! One word of cautionBe advised that this reflector comes with a cord that will require the use of an adaptor if not used with a Hydrofarm ballast, becasue Hydrofarm uses a unique plug type. You will have to order the Hydrofarm BAASP Plug Adapter Brand S if you wish to use this reflector with a standard plug on most ballasts!

Very Well made both structurally and electrically solid and safe. Heavy gauge well finished, no sharp corners. Works well and very fairly priced. Easy to install with well designed hangars that attach to a structural part of the fixture rather than flimsy add-on brackets as on many other designs. Much safer than open lamp fixtures. CSA electrical certification and would probably meet UL if tested. Well packed in a large sturdy carton Amazon free shipping made it an even better deal.

The panel to access the bulb is not hinged as shown. It has a trim plate that needs to be removed then the glass can be removed for access. Other than that I like it.
