I own many LED bulbs, and review them. I was offered this one in exchange for a review. LED technology has advanced incredibly in the past year, so the newest light is bound to make any LED bulb more than 6 months old look lousy.
The 56W Superbright does not disappoint. However, it doesn't come with a plug. A standard 3-prong plug installs on it fine, but I took it to an electrician anyways, at a store that does lighting for the whole city. This is a large bulb, about the size of 2 stacked reams of paper. We talked about advances in LEDs while he put on the plug within a few minutes, next to a shelf with thousands of LED bulbs. Then we plugged it in, inside a huge, well-lit backroom.
In the well-lit room, the whole room got noticeably brighter. Super bright, and also very white, as the electrician mentioned. We turned off the lights, and played around with lighting up parts of the huge warehouse-sized room with this one bulb. As an LED bulb collector, I was incredibly impressed. More than that, though, the guy that supplies specialty bulbs for the city was impressed. It's that advance-in-technology thing. For LED bulbs, comparing 2011 to 2013 is like comparing a 1992 PC to a 2012 PC. The newest LED superbulbs are weeks old, and he hadn't seen one yet.
This is made for outdoor use, so it's ideal for lighting up backyards, business signs, or flags. Bulbs like this would be good for film lighting and nighttime sporting events. Despite the incredible number of lumens, the bulb is cool even after being plugged in for awhile.
One drawback -it's incredibly bright, so it can't be placed in a spot where a person would regularly be looking directly into it.
For those needing lots of lumens, highly recommended.

This is a standard LED floodlight, designed to mount outdoors on a wall or on the ground, to light up the side of a house or the inside of a shed or an outdoor pathway, whatever you like. It's a very bright light but is more directional than, say, a light bulb. The glass cover is clear, without a diffuser, so the light is a bit harsher than some, and, if it is the only lighting source in a space it casts sharp shadows. You wouldn't use this to light up a room by itself since you wouldn't get the kind of diffusion you expect. But it works great for illuminating the side of a house, or a pathway.
It's got a mounting bracket that you can use to screw it in to the wall or secure it to the ground. The light can rotate about 60 degrees on the bracket so that once you mount it you can direct the light as you like. It has a built in transformer, to switch the alternating current from your house or other power supply into the direct current that the LED light needs to operate.
It comes with a small terminal block that you can use to screw in and connect the three wires coming from the box to the three wires from your power source, or the three wires that come out of a standard three prong outlet. The trick in connecting it is that the color coding for the wires on this is different than what you might expect from US electrical standards. Luckily, the instruction sheet explains what the colors mean: blue is 'L' or live; brown is 'N' or neutral; and that leaves the green and yellow wire as ground. US standards have brown as live, blue as neutral, and green as ground.
So, to make it work, assuming that your power source is US standard: (1) blue on the lamp to brown on your power source; (2) brown on the lamp to blue on your power source; and (3) green with yellow stripes on the lamp to green on your power source. Then you should be good to go.
Again, for most uses you'll connect this to a powerline coming from an outdoor powerbox; you can also connect it to any three pronged power cord, and then you can plug this into the wall. That's what I ended up doing since I plan to use this for a video light (works great for a harsh directional light source).
