I chose this mostly because there wasn't a lot similar to it, and it was inexpensive. I've installed a variety of lighting fixtures, but the mounting design on this is the least sensible. Due to the design, it was very difficult to the get the fixture mounted tightly against the wall, and I finally stopped at "good enough, it at least won't fall". The arms that extend from the base were not all symmetrical when I opened the box either. Not enough to send it back, but enough to have me tugging and pulling on them to line them up. Also, like all bulbs of this kind, there is a little white washer you unscrew to put the glass sconce on, then screw down over the glass sconce to keep it in place. One of these was jammed and could not be removed. Beyond these kinks, the design is pleasing to the eye for what it cost.
