We are so pleased with this onion lantern. It is perfect for a front entry and has the typical Cape Cod look that we wanted. Had shopped locally for these lanterns and the prices were 2 to 3 times higher. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I thought these would be perfect for the house. They are made in China and do reflect that in their quality. The globe is not replaceable if it ever breaks because it is riveted into the housing. They are made cheaply, but do like the look of them and hope they hold up, I did spray them with a silicone spray to ward off rust if that occurs. If you do this be sure the power is off to the light, some silicone sprays can be flammable. The price seemed high for the quality, but everything is going up in price I guess.

this is my second vaxcel nautical lantern....we live by the ocean and unfortunately metal doesn't last long...the light never stopped working but the metal rusted...i liked it so much that i ordered it again!
