Great having two settings task and light illumination. No excessive heat. Installation not difficult. Slim, so it doesn't stick out from under cupboard. Like not having a wall switch (more to tile around). Also no cords (hardwired).

I was looking for a high quality unit that would match the SS finishes (closes as possible).

Like the dual light level.

Unit does get warm and you notice it when you reach for the surface mounted control, but not hot enough to worry or burn.

I would do LED instead now (3 years later).

I replaced a florescent fixture with this one. Fit right in place, easy install and a nice soft light as opposed to the florescent harsh white.

This, and the other sizes available, are the best undercabinet lighting you can have. Unlike competing products, the xenon light is cool to the touch, long-lasting, consumes little power, has a low/high switch and the light is very nice and warm. The only problem I ran into is with dimming, a string of these in the kitchen did not take to dimming very well. OK, so the dimmer was replaced with a switch and the low/high switches on each unit are used to achieve the light level we want.

These are really very nice, we are pleased with the results in our house. You will be too.

Would have thought the lights were made for my space instead of the other way around. Perfect mood lighting for the installed area.
