Installation was easy, especially since the electrical connections were plug attachments. I did need another person to hold the glass shade while I fed the chains through the holes. The chain to control fan speed, which feeds through a hole in the side, does not operate well. There's too much angle between where it exits the fan and the hole, and it sticks to the grommet in the shade (which protects the glass). I actually needed to reach over the glass shade to pull the chain. However, we will likely never want to adjust this, so it doesn't really matter to me. It might bother someone else.
