We love our new light fixture. It is a great focal point and conversation piece. Shipping was cheaper than driving to Ikea. Had earlier passed it up at Ikea. So glad to have it now. Did use brighter bulb than it called for and put it on a dimmer switch for greater effect. Love, love, love it!

If you love this light, be absolutely sure you have a big enough room with very high ceilings. It's beautiful, but it's 32" in diameter and you'll need another 6+ inches of loose cord to the base, plus the base is another 5". It might work over a dining table in a standard room, but not in a house with children.

Hanging in a big stairwell, I am in love with this light. Easily installed and assembled. It is a large presence, while still airy looking. Just perfect. And because the actual weight is light, I didn't have to install special bracing in the ceiling. That was a big plus.

Just a box of metal and paper pieces. The "stars" at the end of each connecting rod are thin paper, many of them were bent, or had different angles of curvature that made the whole light look cheap and damaged. Would not advise buying this.
