Got this as a Warehouse Deal and it would've been a bargain at full price. Similar contemporary floor lamps can sell for up to $250. Really happy with it, goes great in a contemporary setting (see photo). Paper doesn't look like 'toilet paper'.
Love it!

I thought I was getting a reasonably tall floor lamp, but I was disappointed as follows:The most annoying features of this lamp are: Without the lamp shade, it measures 48 inches high from floor to the top of the socket, not the 60 inches that are advertised. The pole is also too thin (5/8 inch in diameter and its connector is 3/8"). The lamp wobbles at the base, where the pole attaches to the stand, so I wouldn't recommend it in a household that has pets and/or young children, or as is sometimes my luck, adults who like to touch everything they see. It's definitely not worth the $82 that I paid for each unit. In terms of quality, it should be priced between $15-$22. I would have faired better if I had bought a couple of pipes at Home Depot and threaded an electrical cord through each. I definitely would have done a better job.
I buy things for practicality, not so much for esthetics, but I'll admit that they looked really nice on the website with the papyrus crumpled paper. In real life, however, they're a disappointment. Because I don't want to install ceiling fixtures, I wanted a high lamp and the lamp shade is optional for me. Instead, I ended up with these little things that stand below eye level. Depending on how you install the shade, you might get the desired 60 inches. The light bulb holds the shade in place: Rest shade bracket on top of the bulb socket before you screw in the bulb. If you install the shade low, you'll have easy access to change the bulb when needed, but the pull chain will not extend lower than the shade. That means that I have to bend and look for the invisible chain under the cover. If you flip the shade over to allow the chain to be seen and hang lower than the shade, the bulb will be further away from the top, so you might have to dig in there to replace a bulb. I give this lamp two thumbs down.
