We ordered this when we redid our 1/2 bath into a black & white bath. My husband installed it with little problems and pretty quickly. It is well made and definitely black as opposed to all the dark bronze out there right now. It was a little more than we wanted to spend, but we needed the square to match the tile. I'm glad we went ahead with this light. It looks great and everyone who has seen it loves it! We ordered it witht the 3-light vanity light, which we love as well.

The first one I got was broken but this company replaced it quickly. Not quickly enough however. I broke my leg the day I got the replacement so still haven't gotten it installed. But I did hold it up & know it will be just what I needed for that space if I can ever get downstairs to put it up. Very thick & good quality.

The alabaster glass on this light is thick and very heavy. The piece is lovely, I installed three I my home and, except for the weight, the installation was standard and the look is distinctive. I am not a fan of plastics, but te 5 or 6 pounds it may save on this item could well be worth it. Plan to have a friend around when you put it up, or try to change a bulb.

I am very pleased with the lights. They hold 2 bulbs and have tall globes, so plenty of light fills the area. These are top quality and look very high end. You won't be disappointed with this light.
