This review is for the Maxim 5844MRCS fixture. This is a very good looking fixture with three sockets (for three bulbs). I bought 5 of them for $24.90 each on Amazon and received free shipping. Free shipping came with an order of four or more from Homeclick. It's hard to find such a good looking fixture in this price range with three sockets instead of the usual two sockets. Each fixture was extremely well packaged, nothing broke or missing. Assembly was easy enough although the instructions were useless. Just look carefully at the picture on the box (diagrams on instruction sheet didn't even show this particular model), use a little common sense and you'll figure it out easily enough. After installing the first one the rest were a breeze.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the fixture is not open on the top. This wasn't shown in the photos or mentioned in the description. I was a little disappointed in this since I wanted the light to shine upward and bounce off the ceiling as well as shine through the marble glass. The marble glass is really very nice and lets through lots of light but since the top in enclosed, except for three holes that vent off heat from the bulbs, it produces a shadow on the ceiling. That being said, for the price, good looks & good quality these fixtures are an excellent buy. They look great in our front room, dinning area and kitchen. Highly recommended.

Purchased this a few weeks ago for a guest bedroom. It arrived promptly and in great condition with all parts being there. It was easy for my husband to install and was really nice looking. We were a little concerned about ordering the Acorn color as we weren't sure what color it actually was from looking at the online photos. It's an antique brown finish that blends well with tones such as bronze, aged iron, etc.. Looked much more expensive than the price we paid! Good deal!

It takes a standard sized light bulb!!! The fixture holds three bulbs. It has a VERY NICE warm natural glow. I keep CFL's in mine and it looks warm despite the CFL bulbs. The " country stone" color is a rusty bronze color. It is not a rubbed oil color like the picture. It was a gamble being that there was no pic of the "country stone" color. I am VERY pleased. High quaility product. Great price! Well packed for shipping. LOVE IT!

Bought this product at a very low price ($26) and even though on sale from $140, thought ie must be nearly junk. As it turned out, the product is first class and was a steal. Every once in a while we just get lucky, I guess. Even at the full price I would rate it as a good quality product and OK price wise. It is now on our bedroom ceiling and is a great addition to the room. We have a high ceiling and I put in 3 100 watt equivalent low energy bulbs, so LOTS of light, It is rated at 100 watt load, so with the low energy bulbs (total 60 watts), the light us excellent.

I received my new ceiling light today and have to say I am very pleased. I had a hanging chandelier in the dinette of the condo I recently bought...overkill is the only word I can attach to that lamp. My daughter and I installed this in a very short time and I can now actually see the picture I have hanging on the wall. I found out I didn't have 3 bulbs to put in it, but the marble glass is doing very well at hiding that fact. It's a very attractive addition to my new home.
