This light looks decent....when the light is off. However, when the light is on the white glass shade turns yellow and you can see the imperfections in it. Ugh, not the look I was looking for. In other glass shades that I have I do not have this problem.

The fixture is very attractive, fits nicely into our "transitional" decorating scheme, and is sturdy. It was installed by my husband with no difficulty. Not until it was installed and the light was turned on did we notice that the glass itself has irregularities that were not expected nor shown on the photo. There are several bubbles in the glass which look like dark spots needing to be wiped off. There are also vertical shadows, almost like faint stripes, around the diameter of the fixture. Given that we already had installed it, and that anybody looking at it would be many feet away, we decided to keep this light because the flaws are not very noticeable to the casual observer.
