We built a detached shed and wanted a way to light it without having to run costly wiring from our house. This has turned out to be an excellent alternative. The light arrived as expected within about five days of delivery. Installation was very easy, approximately 15 minutes total time. The light provided is low but adequate to see things in the shed. This would not work if you were going to use your shed for woodworking, or anything that requires bright light. But if you need to see well enough to find a tool, or put things away after dark, it's an excellent and affordable option.

I had purchased a similar Shed light (a Sunforce product) in the past and was very disappointed. Before I bought this product, I did enough online research to find out the details as much. It indeed produces adequate light for a shed and the lights indeed stay lit for 4-1/2 hours (if you turn on a single bulb mode). I am very pleased with the product.
FYI, the replacement 8 watt bulbs are available at Home Depot, Lowes or any other hardware stores (for about $4-$5 a piece), when and if needed to be replaced in the future. Unlike other similar products, this product has a 6 volt rechargable battery. However, I don't know how long the battery life is and how easy would it be to replace one, when and if needed.

works really well. Does not provide a strong light even wit both on but it operates well enough. Also easy to repair if string breaks. Plus a wonderful conversational item while being GREEN!

This is a great light and easy to install. It's the brightest solar light I've come across, and has two settings for dimmer or brighter. It lights up a 16x30 horse shelter I have. I'm very pleased with it.

This doesn't charge fully unless the sunlight is uninterrupted all day long without a cloud in the sky. Well I live in Ohio, and that just isn't the case most of the winter... which is when I need it! Anyway, when the sun is bright, it's pretty good, though just not as bright as I'd hoped. Sorry. It's okay but not great. I'm not going to return it, but I wouldn't recommend for others unless they get more sunlight hours. Might be better if the collection panel were curved to get the most of the sun's movement?
