I bought 3 of these shades for my living room light fixture. There is no orange/yellow in these shades at all--they're more dark blue and violet/reddish pink. They are still pretty, so I will wait and see how badly they clash with the orange I plan on painting the walls this weekend.
4/17/2013 UPDATE: I contacted the company, Wayfair, about returning the shades. They were very responsive over e-mail and concluded that I had received the wrong product. They sent out replacement shades right away, but the ones I received still don't look anything like what is pictured here. While I'm pleased with the customer service, I still don't believe anyone in this company really knows what shades they should be sending to anyone!
If you feel like taking your chances on what you might get, order these shades. No matter what you get, they will be beautiful, I can promise that.
