We turned the fixture around so the shades point down and it was perfect. Our electrical connection was off center from where I wanted this placed, and this design with a raised front panel, allowed this placement without changing the electrical box in the wall.I hung it globes down to replace a strip light. Selected this because the globes do not extend below the back strip. Good quality
