This is a great bright lamp the uses regular light bulbs. Due to the design, lots of light shines through the crystals. We have 2 story ceilings in this area, so it definitely helps to light up the room which was our goal. We are only using 40w equivalent CFL bulbs, but plan to get 100W CFL equivalents, which should really brighten the room.

I didn't expect that I would have to put this lamp together when I got it but such was the case. Of course there were instructions included and it turned out to be very simple. I was done in about 30 minutes. I bought clear light bulbs to go in mine because those curly ones just do not look good and the clear ones enhance the crystals and you can't see the bulbs. Another note, I bought 60W bulbs. Unless you need tons of light, 60W is too much. Even with just one lamp lit, It's way more than I need. I'm going to go get less wattage bulbs today. Hope you enjoy your lamp as much I do.

We purchased this lamp for a studio apartment that is sleek and modern, but with a crystal chandelier in the kitchen. This lamp blends perfectly in the overall classic but modern look of the apartment. It was very easy to put together, but it is best to do it as a two -person job. The switch is on the pole itself, not on the base or the wire. You can turn on one lamp, two lamps, or all three. It uses standard light bulbs, not included. The base is not as attractive as I would have hoped-it is a heavy black plastic-but it looks okay.The pole is silver-colored stainless steel, and the crystals, though plastic, look really nice. Good value for the price!

Very easy to assemble. Extra beads are included. Quality and Price are perfectly matched. This is a three way light and lights up beautifully. Everyone that see' it, wants it.

i def think the price for this lamp is great.. my apt is all white painted with white furniture and rug... this lamp really made it look a lot better than already was,but no worries i think no matter which color yr decor is this lamp will def just come to add luxury ... i recommend this lamp 100% is so beautiful and luxurious .. the base is black however u wouldnt be able to see it in my place bc its between furniture.. but i have no problem with it , it doesnt look bad a t all.. its very tall which makes it a lot more WOW lol im very happy with it...
