I bought this drawer with the open shelves to go on top of it, and I've been really happy with my purchase. It was a little more expensive than some others I looked at, but it's well worth it. The finish is really nice, the unit is sturdy, and the drawer slides very smoothly. Assembly takes a little time but overall was not difficult.

I was really hoping this would work out. I kept it as I don't want to have to put it all back in a box and ship it back. It assembled great until we put in the drawer. It keeps going off the track. If we close it all the way, it won't open. So we leave it partly open and it serves its purpose. Should of bought the $200 Pottery Barn Kids one to ensure I was getting a quality product.

I was looking for low-cost and flexible storage solutions for a kid's bedroom. Like any RTA furniture, it was a minor pain to assemble. However, the components are heavy and sturdy, the instructions reasonable, and the fit of the overall product is good. It was very well packaged with no damage and no missing parts (and actually, some redundant hardware). The finish is decent. Because it is part of a modular system, it can be reconfigured as the need arises. I liked it well enough to buy matching pieces, which can be anchored together to form a wall unit. The price was right.
