First, I wish they were taller. But then, many floor lamps don't seem to be high enough to provide light above you. However, what really swayed me to only give 3 stars is to warn the buyer that the gold paint on the stand ends up looking a bit gaudy in real life. If the stand was just dark wood, i would like it much better.
