I am extremely disappointed in this chandelier. The images online showed a brilliant, heavily laden crystal chandelier. Instead, it is mostly gray with sparse crystals. The instructions are completely unhelpful. There are several chains of crystals and nowhere are you shown where to hang them. I made it up as I went along. When I considered returning it because it was nothing like shown in the images, I was told I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee. I would advise anyone to steer clear of this company.Best Deals for Modern Chandelier "Rain Drop" Chandeliers Lighting with Crystal
We have this chandelier installed for 2 years now. We want a contemporary looking small chandelier just at the entrance of our townhouse, at the foot of the stairs going to the upper floor. We do not want a big one or an expensive one.We saw this in one of the websites specializing on chandeliers. The picture look very nice, and for the price, it is just right for our budget. It has 31 of the bigger crystals and about 2-1/2 feet tall.
When we unpacked it, it looks very organized. Just make sure you don't entangle the wires together as it would be very problematic to undo it. The crystals are pretty, yet at the same time, it is obvious that this chandelier is more for the budget conscious ones. The housing looks like a stainless metal mesh where it suppose to hide the junction box; The mesh is actually our main gripe, it does not do a good job in hiding the wires behind the box. Installation was easy.
Since I put it up there 2 years ago, I don't remember what kind lamp it uses. It uses halogen MR16s but I am not sure of the wattage. I think around 40 watts each for a total of 120W. Why not energy saving compact fluorescent? It is just normal for chandeliers not to use compact fluorescent as it has to shine directly to the crystals to produce the effect. Compact fluorescent lamps are diffused light and will do a terrible job for chandeliers.
Overall, considering how much (around a hundred bucks) we paid for it. We are satisfied and happy with it.
