I have been trying to get lamps for my bedroom that provide adequate light for me for at least 2 years. I have tried many lamps and if I like their looks, they are never bright enough for me. These Park Madison lamps are nice looking and good value for their price. Although they probably are meant more for a living room, they look fine on my nightstands and more importantly provide low, medium and high lighting which works great for me. I haven't had them for more than a few weeks but so far I am very pleased with them. I will say that if you have small children or pets, you have to be cautious about them tipping over because although they are stable they are fairly light weight. I was thrilled with this product! The lamps arrived in 3 days after I placed an order. Very well packaged. They are very easy to assemble and they look gorgeous! I can't believe that I got them only for 70 bucks! They look so expensive that my friends thought I got them at least for $100 each! The first set I received had the glass detail part broken on one. I sent it back thinking it was a fluke and just opened my second one (very carefully) and there is a tiny crack in the glass part of another one. Now I have to decide whether to keep them and hope it doesn't get bigger or ship them back yet again. I am not sure I would get the same ones again if they are that fragile. The glass seems to be as fragile as a light bulb. Park Madison LIghtig PMT-1808-17 pair of lampsThe lamp pair are exactly what I wanted and they are beautiful. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because when I removed them from the box, I thought the lamp shades were welded to the harp crooked but later realized you just have to apply some pressure to slide them back to the proper location for the shades to hang evenly.
Husband accidentally ordered 2 pairs instead of 1 pair but no problem as my Mom loved them so she gets the 2nd pair!
