This carriage house wall lantern is fairly large and just the right proportions for our 3,000 sq ft, 1980's victorian ranch. THe lantern has a victorian look to it and we ending up buying 4, 2 for the front porch and 2 for the garage area. The only shorting coming is the material. They appear not to be metal, but some sort of composite, the finial on one was not threaded correctly and is tilted on top. Upon further inspection I see they were made in China. What isn't? Overall they were O.K., but next time I would search harder for better quality, even if it meant more $$.
