This light fixture is very well made and installed easily. The attention to detail is greatly appreciated. It is wired very nicely and the wires are all covered in a nice sleeve that fits over the usual casing and adds a nice finished feel to a part that you can't even see once it is installed. The chrome parts were beautifully plated and perfectly shiny. The glass pieces all arrived in one piece and fit beautifully. The whole unit is very nicely and securely packaged.
I took off one star because the bulbs that came with it are insanely, eyeball bleachingly BRIGHT. Depending on the size of your room, this may not be a problem, but I installed this in a small powder room and I can feel the heat of the three one hundred watt bulbs while I'm standing at my toilet. Normally this wouldn't even be a problem, but the bulbs are an odd double-ended 78mm T3 halogen bulb (I have similar bulbs in my work lights) and I could only find one supplier for lower wattage replacement bulbs, it's been a week since I've ordered them and I still haven't received them, so I'm always going to have to be one set ahead. If you're going to stay with the 100 watt bulbs that come packaged with the unit, they seem to be readily available, so you can add the missing star back on and order this fixture without worry.Nothing to write home about. It works and puts out plenty of light. I would buy again if I needed it.
