It is waaaayy larger than you can imagine. Our original wall lanterns were 14-inches so I thought it wouldn't hurt to go up two inches. The pictures and description just don't give you the sense of scale this thing has so I ordered them. Big mistake. I could tell the minute I took it out of the box this was too big. You need a large home for this piece and mine isn't that big. I was able to return it and purchased the 12-inch lanterns instead. Much better. Amazon was great on the return process, by the way. My recommendation is to order the smaller lantern if you are unsure about size.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program We have had these lights in black finish for about a year. They still are working fine and only show minor weather wear when you look up close. They are a nice size for having one on each side of our 2 door garage. The glass is white opaque so it softens the light more than a plain clear glass. You also can't see the ugly bulb if you go with a CFL twist. We like them well enough to get another set.

Love the lights! They are stylish, easy to install and were priced right. I bought 5 lamps all together in two different sizes from this seller. I sprayed clear coat on the surface to protect them from the elements. We just installed them so we'll see how they hold up in that respect.

I didn't fully inspect/unpack all the lights for several months after purchase while I waited for our home to be resided. When I did, I found a glass panel broken. The seller responded immediately and hooked us up! Great job! I will buy from this seller again!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is not small or medium or large. It's huge. It's like makes your house look small. And it's green. Let me say all of that again. huge and green. Hulk. And slightly wobbly. So I took it down. Made my house look tiny when it was on it. It's probably for castle or big store. But everything works fine. I gave to neighbor who has also tiny house. He said he will use it on his backyard lighting.
