It looks just like pictured. the bronze finish is a matte paint over zinc. I got mine open box and the bronze finish was chipped off on some edges. So I used a gel-stain to darken the exposed zinc and it looks fine. Most light fixtures do not have real bronze unless they are very high end. For the price they are charging though.. $100, this lamp is a rip off, for that price the bronze really should be real and you can get high-end light fixtures that do have real bronze at this price point. I got it for $20 so I made do and I'm satisfied with it at that price.
That said, the glass shade is higher quality than most with slight ornamentation.
