It looks good on my nightstand, but for over $100 for a nightstand lamp, the quality is not high enough. While the lamp is completely sturdy and well constructed, the materials do not seem top quality and are just... a bit off. For example, the shade just does not look like the elegant color in the picture but looks a bit cheap. Another complaint is the top piece (black upside down u) that gives the lamp its great look prevents bigger light bulbs from being installed. I tried to install a GE 150-Watt equivalent halogen light, but the top cannot screw on when a bulb that big is installed. This is frustrating because I really wanted more light but would have to sacrifice the look of the lamp.
All in all, not a bad product but I'm sure you could do better for the money.
