I purchased this fan because my house came with two other fans from the same manufacturer. Those fans have had extensive use in the four years that I've lived in my house. They are quiet, vibration free and well made. This fan has proven to be the same. Given the wide range in ceiling fan prices, this fan is very inexpensive. It's simple design is very pleasing to my wife and I. We couldn't be happier with our purchase.
