The only reason I gave this four stars is that the R20 30 watt light bulb that shines down on the shelves wouldn't fit. There was no way it would go in as the bulb is too big in diameter. I put in a 10w mini spiral instead. I hope a light with less wattage doesn't cause a problem. I bought a similar lamp from Walmart and had to return it. This lamp is a little higher priced than the Walmart lamp but is well worth the money. I really like the glass shelves and being able to illuminate the items on the shelves. The overall quality is good too. If I had to do it over again, I would still buy this lamp.

These are fantastic lamps. If you have smaller living spaces, these are great to give you extra space to put/display smaller items. The spotlight is nice too, but I don't use it very often.

They are also pretty sturdy and the legs have small knobs on the bottom that allows you to adjust them so that they are level with the floor.

Overall, I love the look of this lamp but fear one day walking in and finding it shattered on the floor. Great design, mediocre execution.

Installation was a little difficult for me, I struggled to make the leg that has the power cord running up it fit together correctly. When I finally got to the bottom part of the leg, it wouldn't stay attached, as if the twist mechanism in the connector had already been stripped (it immediately fell out, initially). There is another reviewer who put in for a replacement lamp--I wasn't smart enough to that, I just super-glued the leg connection and put a piece of subtle clear tape around it.

The leg wobbles and I get extremely fearful vacuuming around it, as it probably would not take much to topple over with the top-heavy glass globe. Even with the adjustable feet, it doesn't seem to want to stay level. Speaking of, there's nothing keeping the glass globe attached to the top. It just sits there around the bulb.

I do enjoy it, though, while it's lasting. I have some weighty things sitting on the lower glass shelves to balance out the heaviness of the top, and it seems to be handling them well. I have yet to go out and buy the downward-facing bulb that's supposed to illuminate the shelves; based on another review, I'm going to aim for a 10w mini spiral. I'll update this review as necessary.

so i received this lamp on the expected date...started putting it together, turns out, i had to return it because the lamp is defective, one of the legs screws are broken and the 2 parts of the leg wont fit together like its supposed to. also since the minute i started opening the box, it felt like it was used before, it had some minor scratches and little defects...suspisious...

i like the overall look of the lamp as well as the price so i ordered a replacement, thats is supposed to arrive in a week....we'll see how they do the second time around.

UPDATE: ok, we received the replacement really fast( under 2 days, yeeii amazon cs!) and this time around the lamp was not defective, the packing was still shabby, it was easy to assamble and it wasnt scratched, even though one of the glass shelves did have a very minor chip. we are keeping it. overall i like the look, it gives good light and you get what you pay for, its an ok lamp...im actually adding one more star.
