I really loved this lantern. I bought two of them and they really completed my zen room. It is enough light that I can read by them, but not enough that it keeps my husband awake. I highly recommend them, they are just beautiful!

This lamp is a terrific deal. It's better made than anything we could find at Pier 1 or World Market so for us, worth the $$$

This lamp looks very nice, and the construction is of high quality. It fits well with the modern Japanese decor of my living room, and gives a nice subtle illumination to one corner from the bookcase it's on.

The only criticism I have is that the power cord is plainly visible emerging from the bottom of the lamp. It's a shame they didn't conceal it in one of the legs. (And that's why it gets 4 stars instead of 5.)

The seller may say inexpensive meditation light but let me say that the lamps look very high end. I purchased two and it looks nice on the night stand besides king sized bed. It is a perfect decor for my formal Japanese guest room. I am half Japanese and I have no complaints. I love these lamps and I highly recommend for those who loves a rich look at a bargain price. All came intact without damages. For me, they are beautiful and every penny worth it.

First off I wasn't too happy when I opened the box. The lamp is smaller then I thought, but it's my fault ... in the end I liked it so much I decided to keep it and found a new spot for it (bought a different lamp for where I thought this will go). Measure first, them measure again, then buy!

Otherwise, it's a fantastic looking lamp. I got it in walnut, the color shows up just enough, its a great finish.

The shape is really nice (to my eyes). The form really works, I found the bigger ones as well but they didn't quite work proportion wise.

The white bits actually have texture if you look close enough, looks good.

The hole to insert the blub is big enough for 150w (CFL only as incandescent max is less), but won't fit anything much bigger, say if you are thinking 85w CFL monster (it's a 12 inch bulb).

The cord is a bit short, but it's a table lamp so it's fine.

Very much recommended.
