Review of Laura Ashley SBB01616 Charlotte 16-Inch Barrel Shade, Cream

While not high end the Laura Ashley shades are good enough. There is nothing cheap looking about them. They are a mid market product. They do not compare with the one much better crafted American Pride shade I bought which is real silk, and the real thing. (This shade is silk, as well, I think--but many of the Laura Ashley shades are not, but they still look good). I did not keep it--among other things the size did not work. I have bought perhaps a dozen in the Laura Ashley brand and their styling and craftmanship are good,, not great. I would not hesitate to buy more. It is just reality that most of us don't have hundreds of dollars for lamp shades. For us, Laura Ashley shades fill the bill.
