I am very satisfied with this lamp. It has two settings: half and full bright, which was a nice surprise to me. I use half bright for when need some ambient light, and full brihtness for reading. It has a nice and solid feel to it brushed metal finish, overall design quite modern. The neck is flexible yet not loose. Has the right height and good sturdy stance. The price with free shipping option is right.

The on/off switch is inline with the map cord about mid way down. It's a real pain to turn on or off whene it's hanging behind the desk. Light is dimmer than I expected.

The lamp puts out good lighting and looks nice. It adjusts easily, but the on/off switch is located on the cord rather than the base. Had I realized this, I probably would have bought a different one. However, other than that, it is a nice lamp.

Wow I love this light. It has a very pleasant dimmer light that I use most of the time and 'wow' the bright light is really bright when you need it. The switch on the cord is no problem for me. I love the light this lamp gives off. I love how it looks and works. I highly recommend it. I am currently using one of these on my desk and one on table by my bed. I ordered two of them. They adjust easily. The neck bends easily and holds right where you set it. This is an exceptionally nice lamp.

This is the second time I have purchased a pair of these lamps to light up an "exhibit" temporarily and they wok great. Easy to assemble, good flex in the goose-neck and stays where you put it. Bulb puts out lots of heat and head get very hot, but that is to be expected. Excellent light output.
