This lamp is exactly what I was hoping it would be... useful, bright, and subtle.
It assembled easily, in about 30 minutes, since I'm uber anal. Everything lined up properly in assembly and has held up to kids and pets... it's sturdier than it looks.
The only thing I wish were different is the cord and how it just hangs down the back; it would have been nice to have it hidden, but at least the cord is clear-coated and doesn't stand out too much.
Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and love this lamp.
