Note that the harp is not designed to accommodate anything other than a small bulb (we ended up modifying it with some effort in order to use the low wattage bulbs we already had.) I expected the shade to be glass, but it's some sort of plastic/rigid fabric and it's held in the frame via tabs --quite a cheap look if you examine it closely. However, it's really cute once I got past its flaws. Honestly, I probably would have given this a miss if I'd seen it for sale at same price locally. And that would have been a shame, as this is really a cute item, just overpriced.

The "mica" imitation shade appears to be constructed from fibreglass cloth dipped in resin and painted with varnish. The weave of the cloth is clearly visible even from a distance. There are better mica imitation lamps selling for $35-$40 on amazon. In addition, the lamp is not dimmable. I agree with other reviewers that it is worth about $30 tops.

That said, the lamp is attractive enough (if you can get past the shade) and, with a low wattage bulb, could make a good night light.

The lamp is beautiful and arrived in good shape. The only thing that bothered me was that it was made in China. I would think that a Tiffany lamp would be made the U.S.

This lamp arrived in a box that looked like it had been run over by a tank. There is supposed to be a screw or something on the top of the harp over the bulb, but this was missing so there was no way to affix the shade to the harp. I did not return it because it was easy to replace the harp. The upright that goes from the lamp in the back of the cat up to the shade was loose. I fixed that, too. This lamp, as someone else noted, is only worth $30.00. Requires bulbs not widely available.

This lamp met all my expectations. Even though it doesn't give a lot of light, it is a great accent piece, particularly for cat lovers. However, the bulb was not included and is not easy to find. I still like the lamp, in spite of that.
